What data is synchronised with Booking.com?
By default, Booking.com automatically synchronises the following details:
Prices
Availability
Minimum Stay
Changeover restrictions
If you'd also like to synchronise the following details, you will need to activate the Automatic listing content update. Learn how to activate it by following the steps below in this article.

Amenities, including bedrooms
Photos
Damage Deposit
Fees
Taxes (excl VAT & City Tax)
Extra Guest Price*
Extra Guest Price:* If the only change that is made on a property is the extra guest price, an automatic listing update will not be triggered. In this case, you need to manually update the listing content. However, if you modify the Max Sleeps of the property the automatic listing update will be triggered anyway including the Extra Guest Price update. What data should always be updated manually in Booking.com?
The following details will ONLY be updated by a manual listing update; The automatic listing update does not update them. Learn how to manually update a listing for booking.com here:

Cancellation policy
Check-in Amenities (lock box/in-person check-in & similar)
Check-in/out times
Min & max sleeps
Surface
Company profile
VAT & City Tax (this must be updated with a partial manual listing update, selecting only Tax & Fees; a full manual listing update will not update it)

How to activate the Automatic listing update for Booking.com?
Make sure that the following listing's details are correctly filled in Rental Ninja:
All Basic Info
Content: Description + Terms & Conditions are mandatory. The rest is recommended.
Guest Info: Check-in/out times + Check-in place + Contact details are mandatory. The rest is optional.
Amenities: at least 5 value adding amenities are required + the amount of beds must be equal to the max. sleeps indicated in the Basic info of the listing.
Rates / Upsells: Base rate + cancellation policy is mandatory. The rest is highly recommended.
Pictures: at least 10 pictures are mandatory. More is recommended
Legal: Mandatory to fill in all required data
Go to the Distribution Center - Booking.com > Channel Settings > Automatic listing content update > Automatically updated Booking.com listings when content change is identified > Save. This is done on account level

Note! If step 1 is not completed successfully, you will have sync issues after activating the automatic listing update.
How to manually trigger a listing update for Booking.com?
Go to Distribution - Booking.com
Search for the listing
Hover over the 3 small dots " ··· "
Click on "Update listing content"
This is always done on Rental level. The information will usually be updated within a time frame of less than 30 minutes.
Note: It is NOT possible to do a manual listing update for Multi-unit properties.
IMPORTANT Notes:
The automatic updates are pushed every 4 hours to the channels. It means your updates should be visible on Booking.com within the next 24 hours, depending on the channel's processing time.
In case the update is unsuccessful, you will see an update error in the Booking.com Property Settings.
Optional Fees are NOT send to Booking.com (exceptions: parking & internet fee. These are always send)
Pet Fee (optional & mandatory) is always send to Booking.com.
Fees & Taxes are always send to booking.com as "not included in price", because they are always added on top of the Rental Price.
If there are multiple fees of the same type, the values are summed up. If there is a percentage + a fixed amount: booking.com only takes the percentage into account.
Credit card fee is not processed by Booking.com
Currency: Booking.com always applies the local currency to its listings. If the currency does not match the one in Rental Ninja, the prices will be converted upon each price push. When a booking is received in Rental Ninja, the price will be converted too. The original booking price can be seen in the Booking's Notes.
Cancellation policy: Rental Ninja uses the one specified on rental level, but it should match the predefined options of booking.com. If not matched, Rental Ninja assigns the options that match the most. If you change the cancellation policy, you will need to MANUALLY trigger the update; the automatic listing update will not modify it.
Latest check-in time: if you select "no limit" in Rental Ninja, this will be pushed as "midnight (00.00h)" to Booking.com.
